The Vintage Closet is a Charity/Secondhand Consignment shop. We are located in the 500 shopping area. Opening Hours are
Tuesdays 0930-1330 For Consignments only.

Wednesdays 0930-1330 For Sales. Closed SHAPE & School holidays SHAPE Vintage Closet Terms & Conditions

❖ Each customer can bring in a maximum of 15 items for consignment each week. This can be 10 items of mixed clothing, only 2 of each item (2 Ladies Tops/Trousers/Skirts, 2 Mens Trousers/Tops, 2 Boys Trousers/Tops and 2 Girls Tops/Trousers/Skirts etc) and 5 other items such as shoes, bags, belt

s, scarves, jewellery, household items, accessories, decorations, small electrical items or appliances and toys (soft toys however will not be accepted). Dependent on the available space to display goods in the Vintage Closet, the number of items may be limited at the discretion of the Vintage Closet staff.

❖ Customers must have at least 6 months remaining on their SHAPE ID card to open a Vintage Closet account.

❖ Items will only be accepted in a good, clean, ironed & working condition. Articles found to be faulty or damaged will not be sold, but can be donated to charity.

❖ Items will be displayed for sale for a period of 6 weeks and if they are not sold within the stipulated time frame, customers can withdraw their items before 1200 on the last day of sale. A charge of 50 cents will be charged against each item withdrawn by the customer (up to a maximum of €2.50). If the items are not sold or collected, they will become the property of the Vintage Closet and may be sold at a reduced rate with all proceeds going directly to a registered charity, or just donated directly to a charity.

❖ The customer will receive 80% of the sale with 20% going to charity. Payout times and dates will be advertised on our page and also in the Vintage Closet.

❖ Payments that are not collected from the sale of items will be kept for two consecutive pay-outs, and if not collected the money will be donated to charity. Payments will be made via a Bank Transfer to a EURO Bank Account on the day of the advertised payout, or If necessary they can be collected by yourself or a nominated person and will be paid in cash.

❖ The Vintage Closet will not be held responsible for items lost, stolen, or damaged or sold without the appropriate Safety Certificate. VINTAGE CLOSET OPENING TIMES

Charity donations can be dropped off on both days. Please note, the Vintage Closet will be closed on SHAPE Holidays. and School Holidays. closures will be advertised.

Sadly, tomorrow 03/06/2026 we say goodbye 👋 to our wonderful Judyta.

Judyta has generously volunteered her time at the Vintage Closet for the past 2 years, and she will be missed more than words can say. Her kindness, dedication, and willingness to help have made such a difference to us all.

Thank you, Judyta, for all your hard work, support, and the time you have given to the VC.
Volunteers like you are the heart of what we do, and without your help, the Vintage Closet simply wouldn’t be able to open.

We are so grateful for everything you’ve done and wish you all the very best for the future. You’ll always be part of the Vintage Closet family. ❤️
