Three years.
Multiple labs.
And a table full of rejected samples. 👀

Creating Soka wasn’t as simple as finding a nice texture and putting it in a pretty tube.

The formula had to transform into water on your hands…
without already breaking down inside the packaging.

So we tested the texture, scent, stability, heat resistance and even the smallest packaging details until everything felt right.

Because launching quickly was never the goal.
Launching something we truly believe in was. 🖤

Soka is coming this August.

More isn’t always better. Especially when it comes to alcohol. 👀

A higher percentage evaporates faster, waardoor het product minder lang zijn werk kan doen.

De juiste verhouding tussen alcohol en water zorgt dus voor een gecontroleerdere werking.
En net daarom kiezen we bij Polkadots bewust voor 70%.

Formulas aren’t about using the most.
They’re about using exactly what works. 💅🏼

Save this one for the next time someone says 100% must be better.

Normal office chairs? We don’t know her. 😂

At Polkadots, even our meeting room had to feel like us:
young, playful and just a little bit chaotic.

So yes, we discuss Canva while bouncing around on office balls.

Are the meetings more productive?
Debatable.

Are they less boring?

Some product ideas start in a lab.

Ours sometimes start with Play-Doh. 👀

Before a new Polkadots product becomes a sample,
Nikita first needs to see and feel the idea in real life.

So she sketches it, shapes the packaging by hand
and leaves the model on her desk until the concept feels right.

Sometimes that process takes two months.
Sometimes it takes four years.

Creativity doesn’t always follow a straight line.
And honestly, that’s where the best ideas usually begin.
