What a day! We would like to sincerely thank everyone who joined us for the Chocolate World Open Day and helped make this edition such a success. Seeing so many passionate chocolatiers, pastry chefs, customers, and partners together was truly inspiring.
A huge thank you as well to all the chefs for their incredible demonstrations, creativity, and energy throughout the day.
We are proud to look back on an unforgettable event. Thank you for being part of it. ❤️

Who will create the ultimate praline?
For our Battle of the Chefs, Bram Hullebroeck and Stijn Vandenbouhede challenged each other with a mystery selection of ingredients. Their mission? Create a unique praline recipe live on stage using the ingredients chosen by their opponent.

Chef Bram already warned Stijn not to show up with “just a simple strawberry”… while Stijn seems more confident than ever. One thing is certain: this will be a battle you don’t want to miss.

Last but not least: the final line-up announcement for Chocolate World Open Day brings a special live showdown.

At 16:30, it’s time for the Battle of the Chefs: Bram Hullebroeck vs Stijn Vandenbouhede.

Both chefs will create a praline using ingredients selected by their opponent. One challenge, two chefs, and only one winning praline.

The jury? You. Our visitors will taste, vote, and decide who takes the title. Expect creativity, pressure, surprises, and plenty of chocolate. This is one you do not want to miss.

Fourth line-up announcement for Chocolate World Open Day: Julius Persoone joins us on Monday 11 May at 10:00.
One of Belgium’s most forward-thinking chocolatiers, Julius Persoone is known for combining science, emotion, and bold creativity in chocolates that challenge expectations. As Chef of The Chocolate Line and named Finest Chocolatier by Gault&Millau, he continues to explore new directions in modern chocolate.

During Open Day, Julius will present his new book RAW – Reinventing Chocolate. Visitors will have an exclusive chance to purchase the book and have it signed before the official release.

He will also unveil his new Chocolate World Signature Mould: Japanese Koi. A design with deep personal meaning, symbolising transformation, perseverance, and strength.
