What’s in a name?

Erts means ore in Dutch, the raw mineral from which steel is born.

We chose the name Erts because every bike we build is a second life for steel, and a tribute to the qualitative materials that make movement possible.

So happy to announce that we found the perfect spot for our next chapter. In just a few months, we’ll be ready for the big reveal of our circular bike factory and our second showroom.

The unique proporties of the vintage frame invited us to build a hybrid city bike with race tyres, fenders, straight handlebar and old school tube shifters. Powdercoated in terracotta pink in a half matte/half shiny finish. Size M.

Alles komt terug, en deze fiets is zelfs nooit weggeweest.

Wij kiezen bewust voor vintage stalen frames uit de vorige eeuw, omwille van hun stijl en kwaliteit. Herlakt en uitgerust met hedendaagse onderdelen, kan dit prachtig stukje geschiedenis weer een eeuwigheid mee.
