We’re excited to share that Modern Living has been invited by Atelier Uma to participate in Design Icons Amsterdam on April 11 & 12.

Design Icons (Design Icons Amsterdam) is one of Europe’s leading vintage design fairs, bringing together around 75 top dealers from across the continent. Expect a carefully curated selection of iconic pieces, rare finds, and timeless designs. For this edition, we’ll be presenting a selection of standout pieces, including works by Florence Knoll, Charlotte Perriand, Roche Bobois, Vico Magistretti, and Nanna Ditzel — each reflecting our passion for craftsmanship, character, and enduring design.

Hi there,

We are pleased to share that our online catalogue has just been updated with a new selection of carefully curated pieces. This latest presentation features works by some of the most influential figures in mid-century European design, including several particularly important and rare examples.

Among the highlights, we are proud to present a remarkably rare wardrobe by Le Corbusier, recently restored over the past months by our skilled craftsmen—a piece that seldom appears on the international market. We are equally delighted to offer an iconic early Zig Zag chair by Gerrit Thomas Rietveld (Van de Groenekan edition), as well as a first edition PK54 table by Poul Kjærholm for E. Kold Christensen, featuring a rare granite top.

From sculptural seating to timeless lighting and collectible design objects, each piece has been selected for its character, craftsmanship, and enduring appeal. Rare sofa or daybed ‘Model No 4311’ designed by Børge Mogensen for Fredericia Stolefabrik, Denmark 1950s. This sofa features a frame made out of oak and remains the original upholstery, presented in a very good and original condition with only minor wear. The frame has been restored with love and the sofa includes an extra side cushion. We have a set of 2 identical pieces available. Priced and sold per piece. Rare and early model T18 coffee table by Pierre Chapo, designed and manufactured in his own workshop in France around 1965. This piece is fully handmade in solid elm wood with ingenious wooden joints and marvelous aged ceramic tiles on top. Presented in its original and very good condition with a soft overall patina on the woodwork. Collector’s item.
