Chypre Orientale:
The dusky waltz of mosses, eastern wind & sacred agarwood
NB: First, If you liked but missed "Elliyeen: Chypre Aurum Complexe" the earlier oud-chypre combo, this is for you, it will quench your Elliyeen thirst, to some extend. Grab it immediately, when released!

Overall Profile:
A hauntingly elegant fragrance, Chypre Orientale uncovers itself as a dazzling waltz, synced between the poised austerity of classical chypre from the Europe and the smoldering heart of the East with a gazelley wafts of sacred agarwood from the far East.

The chypre in this perfume oil "backboned" the eastern wind - try to sense the chypre through the olfactory journey of the oriental breeze.
The luminous charm of bergamot and mandarin zest - the citrus brilliance get actually softened by the narcotic and indolics of orange blossom and the dusty yet nectarous golden pollen of mimosa.

A dash of ylang-ylang, indole and jasmine adds a tropically solar richness, while a velvety dark Damask rose, ultimate extract threads through the core like a crimson ribbon - deep marooney, twig and leafy greatness, thickness and sweet profile very close to date molasses.

Beneath this "florariental" layer lies the true chypre soul - the creamy sweetness, mild spicy balsamic tonka bean stone and ambery facet comes from the labdanum, which weave a soft resinous sweetness, grounded by the smoky earthiness of "vetiver ziza "and the sweet-dirty-sweaty animalic touch of Indian civet. This classic accord forms the refined structure on which the Orient climbs, rest and journ along.

The eastern tonfar eastern wind arrives in waves of shadow and incense. Frankincense and opoponax swirl like temple-incense holiness, mysterious and ethereal. The spiced breath of black cardamom and nutmeg adds warmth and intrigue, coiling around a darker heart of oakmoss, leather, and mighty musk notes. You might find some subtle but obvious hints of star anise, licorice and fennel seed.
Rare Assam agarwood sings its sacred, leathery song, supported by a complex agarwood accord crafted with nuanced depth. A streak of ambergris (recon) shimmers quietly in the drydown, lending a subtle marine sheen and animalic echo. Kephalis, with its radiant amber-wood tone, bridges the chypre mosses and oud resins, fusing cool elegance with burning sensuality.

Chypre Blanc: the dance of the white flowers amidst a play of light and shadow
Chypre Blanc, a fragrance that relates the tales of contrasts, a modern ode to a timeless structure - Chypre. Imagine the sun-drenched bright and shiny morning-dew spring morning, the inspiration for François Coty's revolutionary 1917 Chypre, now bathed in the soft, ethereal glow of giggling white flowers, waiting to peep above the shades - to be sun-tickled and kissed. This is not just a regular perfume oil; it's an olfactory paradox, a fascinating journey where I tried to pave a traditional piece of art towards a luminous, zen-like modernity.

The experience begins with a captivating burst of light – a radiant accord of Calabrian Bergamot and sweet Mandarin, sparkling with an almost tangible zest. This classic but modern and comparatively simpler opening is immediately softened by the gentle caress of Orange Blossom, hinting at the floral heart to come. A surprising twist of juicy Raspberry Ketone adds a contemporary shimmer, a playful wink before the deeper layers unfold. It’s the fresh, bright promise of dawn.

As the initial brilliance settles, the heart reveals the soul of 'Blanc'. A breathtaking bouquet of white florals unfurls with intoxicating grace. Opulent Jasmine Sambac and creamy Tuberose Absolute take center stage, their rich, narcotic sweetness weaving a spell. Exotic Ylang Ylang adds its unique fruity-floral signature, while classic Rose lends timeless elegance and powdery Mimosa softens the edges, creating a lush, almost a cool-but-bright core. This is the white heart, pure yet profoundly sensual.

But the 'ghost' of the classic Chypre structure remains, grounding the ethereal florals in a sophisticated, earthy embrace. The drydown descends into a complex, musky - cool - powdery finish. The essential Chypre accord – slight resinous Labdanum, fortunately sweet enough, earthy Vetiver, and a modern Mossy reconstruction – provides the strong backbone before transiting to musk. This foundation is then wrapped in the smooth sweetness of Tonka Bean and layers of soft, synthetic Musks that create a captivating, skin-like trail, but a posh cosmetic and pheromone like vibe. Subtle hints of animalic Civet and Indole (naturally enhancing the white florals) add a final touch of intrigue and depth, fulfilling the promise of a "twist of musky dry down".

It respects the legendary Coty-inspired Chypre architecture – that iconic contrast between bright citrus and deep mossy woods – but reimagines it through a prism of radiant white florals predominantly and contemporary musks. It achieves a state of 'zen' not through minimalism, but through the harmonious tension of its elements. Fascinating, indeed.

Dear fellow devotees and perfume enthusiasts,

Pardon my delay, and letting your first few days of Ramadan and Taraweeh without rouhanne waft. Sincere apologies.

1. Oud Layaali: 3ml oil BDT2650/=

The name says a lot, this is a floral-come-sweet resinous oud blend, that you can happily wear in these comparative colder nights of Ramadan. The oud here is Prachin Thai oud accord made with real oud and other woody elements. The rose is amazing - with a slight touch of Turkish rose - egyptian geranium rose and few aromachmes. French pure lavender is used here in this composition. I am sure you are going to enjoy this unique oud scent during your long qiyaam.

2. Esprit de Oud: 3ml oil 2350/=

Esprit de Oud (fabric perfume) - intended to be used on your garment mainly - however safe to be used on your skin as well. This scent is designed to be infused into the threads of your clothes, giving you an impression of royal vintage aura, your old outfit of any of your special life-event, kept in a suitcase or the top shelf of your wardrobe. A complex mixture of Cambodi oud accord made with oud, guaiac wood and other woody elements and suede leathery touch. The nitro musk and the mighty ambergris accord would give a captivating earthy-damp-old trunk-silk and cosmetic like waft - a nostalgic aura. Blur Cypress here is to augment the sweet aspect of the damped-earthy profile, more towards a chamomilish, helichrysum, dry fig-ish profile - but subtle.

NB: This "Esprit de oud" is not for all, but for those who appreciate some different and mystic side of perfumery.

The price tag is really just the Ramadan Price tag - was too busy and too occupied but just couldn't let this Ramadan without Rouhanne releases for you

Dirty Neroli Attar

A rogue concord of scent, Dirty Neroli Attar toys with contradictions—fresh and feral, clean yet grimy. The opening is a citrus slap, sharp and brisk, as bergamot and neroli weave a heady shimmer of tart zest and floral brightness. But don’t be fooled; this ain't no polite little spritz. Beneath the innocent facade, there’s a sly dirtiness brewing.

The heart is a strange beast—not much airy, almost ethereal faded florals laced with musky whispers that feel like sun-warmed skin, dampened by a primal edge. A soft green veil, teasing at first, morphs into something velvety and sweaty—clean laundry tossed in a barn. It's the flirt of a meadow and the musk of a stable.

The dry-down is where this concoction bares its teeth. A gritty, animalic hum grows, layered with faint woodsy, sweet hayish notes and a touch of caramelized bitterness. Imagine coumarin’s sticky warmth melting into pale-leathery shadows and resin-like smolders.
.....and, the finish? A tactile, earthy heft that clings like second skin—lanolin lends an almost waxy smoothness, grounded by a whisper of something dank and feral.

It’s a true skin scent, shifting its character from person to person, weather to weather, and even fabric to fabric. This isn’t your typical neroli-based attar or perfume—it’s something else entirely. With neroli being a luxury in itself, every trick in the book was pulled to cut costs without cutting corners. Hope you’ll respect the hustle.
