Job title - Merchandiser
Company: GATSBY TEX
Job Location: H-23(1F),Gausul Azam Avenue Road, Sec-14, Uttara, Dhaka.
Job Description/Responsibility -
1. Sample development (Including of sample prog, yarn, fabric, trims booking) and follow-up.
2. Ex*****on of Lab dip, yarn dip, yarn requirement, fabric booking, fabric testing for the bulk orders and follow-up.
3. Follow fabric progress chart properly & discuss with fabric team to track fabric progress.
4. Ex*****on of trims/accessories layout development (both portal and manual) & booking for bulk orders and follow-up regularly.
5. Workout on embellishment development (both sample and bulk) such as print, AOP, embroidery etc. Also, placement of workorder on this embellishment.
6.Must monitor & follow-up daily sample, production, fabric, accessories Inventory reports.
10. Prepare and maintain everything.
Educational Qualification -
Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering from reputed University (Major in Apparel Manufacturing is preferable)
Experience Requirements
3-4 years
Job Requirements -
• Age range 25–35 year
• The applicant should have good knowledge about apparel manufacturing.
• Proficient in MS office (Excel, Outlook), can speak & write in English.
• Able to work proactively, strong communication and Interpersonal skills.
• Punctual and “Can Do” mentality.
• Ability to work as a Team.
• Good in mathematical calculation.
