gladesh run by a group of prolific, enthusiast, diversified and skilled people expert in clean cookstove, energy, carbon management, social development, women empowerment, community engagement and behavioral change communication (BCC) activities in home and abroad actively working since 2013 by engaging mixed gender population and entrepreneurs to create a sustainable household supply chain for accelerating women empowerment, poverty elevation and sustainable business growth throughout the distribution of clean cooking solutions, state of the art off-grid solar lighting products and other household consumer products. It’s clean cookstove venture has successfully initiated and piloted a unique woman-led inclusive business model in Bangladesh in 2016 known as Surjokonna (literal meaning Daughter of Sun in Bengali but the theme represents an empowered woman) in association with Global Alliance for Clean Cookstove to accelerate the pavement of socio-economic women empowerment by creating sustainable entrepreneurship and income generating activities which can potentially be an iconic business model for fostering the growth of clean cookstove entrepreneurship in Bangladesh having the potential to be replicated globally. This venture has already been piloted in different locations of Bangladesh in partnership with local NGOs, SMEs, Women Entrepreneurs who are the Partner Organization (PO) of this business model.
