It's been a hectic time since last I posted. Phone malfunctioned, car malfunctioning, birthday plans, Black History Month/African Awareness, completing assignments, Lent beginning...

Makayla's machine cranking handle broke and has rendered the little machine I got her useless. Recently, she started using my larger machine. This is her most recently finished project. We created the pattern ourselves.

It's the season of Independence here in Barbados and everything is Blue, Yellow and Black (put it up..😄). ARCA is not to be left out of the celebrations. The body of this wine bottle cozy is made with a circular knitting machine. The base is a handknit round coaster pattern which is sewn onto the cozy. The tie is also handknit and sewn on. Accompanying this well dressed bottle of libation is a 4 piece crocheted coaster set.

Good day, I am looking for some craft tutors available during the hours of 10:30am and 1:30pm for the first 2 weeks in December.
This is catering to older ladies...55+
Sessions include, but not limited to dancersise for seniors, candle decorating, soap and/or deodorant making and beaded mats.
If possible can I get some form of response by November 19th.

I love Facebook interest groups. I am sure you have heard of peer learning and for me Facebook groups does just that. So every now and then I will share what I've learnt. It may not be new to you but it's new to someone.

So I recently joined a new knitting group and the term "sock blanks" was used in a post. Well.....I was really drawing a blank 🤭 so I googled it. Here's what I found:

My facebook knit group usually does something called Saturdays. They use this time for members to promote their products and services. This group appreciates that there are different categories of knitters and aim to make the group a safe place for all skill levels.

Customer has outgrown their tam. Asked us to make it longer. Since this tam was not made by us we first had to search for the ending so we could unravel, then we determined the stitch and hook used. Here are our findings..
