Ok peoples. I think I've got it. I'm using a thinner card stock so it's easier to cut and fold. Not as strong as the previous card stock but it still works. Plus this card stock comes in multiple colours so I don't have to paint. By the way the colour box represents the colour grip on the sticks. The white box represents a designed pair of sticks.

So what has making product boxes taught me? Shape blades are critical. Direction of the flaps are crucial. Accurate scoring is definitely needed. A good finish would really sell it.
Over time I will improve on it.

Making more boxes.
It's a bit tedious but at least I can do it myself and cut cost for now. Anyone know where I can one of those printers that cuts patterns in paper/card?
