Jay's Enterprises manufactures and distributes a wide of range spices and condiments under Superb Blend brand which carries on the tradition of the Caribbean. Our logo, the “Mortar & Pestle”, symbol of excellence, assures good, authentic Barbadian taste in your meals, all over the world. We began production in the area of dry spices, followed by wet seasonings and pepper sauces based on consumer’

s demand for a complete and tasty Barbadian product. Afterwards we expanded our core competence to great cake mix and gourmet products that offer customers an exotic experience at home: Bajan seasonings and Hot Pepper sauces, Browning, Great Cake Mix and others. In 2000 we launched a new and exotic range of gourmet condiments which included a condiment-trio comprising of a ginger pepper jelly, spicy mango chutney and a zesty onion relish. Fruit sauces were created to tantalize taste buds with the exotic flavours of tropical fruits using as salad dressing, dips or marinates simply to compliment any meal. Our products are now on the shelves of some international cities such as Manchester and Birmingham in the United Kingdom, Boston and New York in the United States, Toronto and Montreal in Canada. We have recently proposed the grandma’s traditional Mauby Syrup, based on the popular local beverage made from the bark of a tree, that we have balanced with the flavours of spices and our very own brown cane sugar. In 2006, to mark our 10th anniversary, we extended our range of products with two new blends: the Premium Blend, now our flagship, for seasoning all meats, and the No Pepper Seasoning better suited for the younger taste buds. In our future there will be new lines to celebrate Caribbean tradition: cooking sauce, for consumers who are looking for tasty and convenient products, and BB sauce, for a versatile use.

Our Sorrel Syrup is made from sundried sorrel petals boiled to perfection into a concentrate with our secret blend of Superb Spices and rich Barbadian sugar.
