Hello Keep Me*ers!!

I’m just popping in before I disappear again to let you know I have found THE BEST Keep Me maker to pass you over to!

Jess used to be based in Perth but after a 2 year break, is now on the Sunshine Coast and ready to take orders!!

You’ve all been asking for quilts… Jess has you covered!!

She has traditional bears and other animals available too. Her craft is INSANE!

📢 Hello you lovely bunch 📢

Some of you may have noticed the silence on this page over the last few months… life just got super busy, as did my mind!

I’m finding I can’t currently dedicate the time needed to continue taking Keep Me Orders and the sewing room is now closed until further notice.

In the 10 plus years I have been making Keep Me*s, I have, for the first time, had to return orders and make the call to close before completing a sewing run.

It’s been a hard decision to make, hence my silence, but the thought of letting people down has weighed on me and caused a lot of anxiety.

With a busy family, increased work schedule and all those wonderful things that keep us mums at capacity, I have had to just say… I’m sorry, I can’t!

This page has always been about the love and care we share for loved ones, the memories we capture in something we can hold and cherish.

So for now, I’m taking a break to spend time doing that with my little people and giving myself more free time to just be.

Thanks for understanding, and thanks for always being so patient and lovely.

You’ll be the first to hear if and when I reopen ♥️

Meet the maker Monday.

This week I bring you 5 fun facts for your Keep Me Maker fact book.

1. Before I ever visited Australia I was a fully fledged member of the Home and Away fan club. Yes, it was a real thing! I haven’t watched it in over 20 years!

2. I once won a donut eating competition in Spain for eating the most sugar donuts in a minute without licking my lips. My prize was more donuts! 😂

3. I would love to visit Japan and am saving hard to make it happen before I’m 50! Only 8 more years to go!

4. I’m the only member of my household that cannot solve a Rubik’s cube in under a minute. In fact, I’m the only one who can’t solve a rubiks cube at all. I can’t even spell rubiks, it autocorrected it for me!

5. Family is everything. I had the kids, my hubby and my parents to draw flowers and had it secretly tattooed. Because we are a brilliant bouquet of individuals and I love the constant reminder.

♥️ Meet the maker Monday ♥️

I’ve received so many nice messages and comments from Keep Me*ers who are enjoying getting to know the person behind the Keep Me Machine!

I know how important it is for you to trust the person who is receiving such precious clothing, and to know that they will be taken care of with nothing but love.

That’s why I’m sharing some of my world with you. So that we’re friends. 🤝

When I’m not working, not mumming, not Keep Me*ing or wifing, And sometimes when I SHOULD be doing all the above… you can find me hiding in the garage behind a canvas.

I started painting just over a year ago, mainly to combat my anxiety and give me a creative outlet while I took a break from Keep Mes.

I’ve struggled to find my style, but I’m currently working on a selection of Boho inspired flower explosions using my kids unwanted toys and things I find around the house, as stencils.

Car tyres, buttons, bubble wrap, Lego Men, Batman toast cutters… finding items to use is probably my favourite part.

It’s a lot of fun, but I’ll never be Van-Jo-gh!!

Anyway, here’s a selection if you want to see them!

It was an early 7am start for this guy today.

Finishing touches made while the house was quiet and a special Keep Me ready to go home.

These orders teach me something every day! I now know there is a place called Camooweal and could point to it in a map if I’m ever on a TV quiz show!
