Acknowledgement of Australia's own HiFi manufacturers, including Wyndham Audio, in this Beat Magazine interview for the upcoming Melbourne International HiFi Show 2016.

The International HiFi Show occurs in Albert Park over the first weekend of July. There are more than 90 brands advertised as exhibiting, covering Australian and international hi-fi and audio-visual manufacturers and retailers. Hi All! It has been a while since I posted much...sorry about that! Wyndham audio has been very busy developing new products and finalising products for the Hifi show here in Melbourne on July 1. In preparation for the show we thought there was more to deliver from the Soulines Turntable....so we purchased a Brinkmass 10.5 arm and fitted the EMT cartridge that was previously on the ripper Jelco 9 inch arm. We were in contact with Igor from Soulines in Serbia with the specifications for the Brinkmann 10.5 tonearm and he assured us that the longer tonearm could be mounted on the Kubrick turntable and Igor was kind enough to manufacture an amboard to suit the Brinkmann 10.5 and arranged for it to be shipped to us here in Melbourne. Like everything Soulines make...it is superb, fitted perfectly and the arm was on ready to go! The new armboard fitted perfectly to the Kubrick and we have been enjoying this sensational combination now for the last couple of weeks. I have to tell you, this is a major step up from the Jelco tonearm. The combination of the Kubrick, Brinkmann 10.5 and Brinkmann EMT ti delivers simply stunning performance, that really needs to be heard over a thorough listening session, to fully appreciate the resolution, clarity and dynamics we are now experiencing from this vinyl rig. Hello everyone! It has been great to read some of your notifications......even the one remark that someone didn't like our site!!! Good Lord! How can that be!? I know I haven't been very active as I have 2 jobs a family etc and we have been busy building speakers......but really...a dislike?

Anyway.....we have been busy building the new loudspeakers! If you look below we have released a very elegant 2-way floor standing loudspeaker. This particular picture is of the speakers painted in a most gorgeous mahogany by one of our friends the extremely talented: Harry Rawlston. The name will be familiar to some people out here in Australia as part of the SGR dynasty!

Harry is an absolute artist with paint and finishes. Thanks to Harry. Wyndham audio is also working on another new speaker: a 3-way loudspeaker. This will be aimed similarly as the 2-way as a reasonable priced highly finished quality loudspeaker. Being a 3-way it will have a bit more bass depth and in -room grunt.

This should be ready for the International Hifi show which is due to be held here in Melbourne in early July 2016....which we are displaying our products!~
I'll update some material as we head towards that date and as the new speakers come out!

Hi Folks! Well....another pair of our gorgeous CH2 conical horns are nearly ready for our customer. These speakers continue to surprise all who make the affort to come over for an audition! Wyndham Audio is not locked in totally with single drivers....we just wanted to get a starting point by showing what can be done even with the mixed opinions surrounding single drivers. Admittedly these horns use the sensational driver from Tang Band...the w6-1916 which is utterly sensational.....oh, I just said that. Using a bit of good old mathematics....and intuition, Wyndham audio has breathed new life into the F.R. driver world. We remain humble by the appreciation and new friends that these wonderful loudspeakers have brought to us. We even had the opportunity to look at building a conical horn using a legend......a Voxitiv driver from Germany! The owner fo this pair of speakers is still considering the project.....it would be large, gorgeous and provide bass to shake the Antarctic polar region! Ahhhhhhh.....how good would they be!!!!???

We are also madly building a number of pairs of our new BR 1 2-way speakers for a show in Adelaide South Australia which is coming up in th enext couple of weeks.

It is all full steam ahead as Keith and I cut timber panels, align clamps and cut dacron for our speakers......paint, sweat and splinters a plenty....but huge progress is being made.

Hi Folks! Wyndham audio has been very busy over the Christmas period here in melbourne Australia! The holidays are on with many activities currently hapening. We are building another pair of our gorgeous CH 2 single driver horns for a custmoer here in Melbourne. These loudspeakers continue to win many friends for Wyndham audio which is very encouraging indeed. We have completed a few demontrations recently with many listeners completely stunned by these loudspeakers. Comments usually revolve around: space of sound, sound-scope, clairty, bass, sound stage, non-fatiguing etc...did I mention bass? All are shocked as they previously didn't like single driver speakers far -less back loaded horns. Sitting down with a wine watching a life concert with these loudspeakers doing their thing is one of the most rewarding audio experiences we have had for some time......I am not joking.
ASs Molly Meldrum often said: "Do yourselfa favour?" Fight the biasis that occur all too often in our audio world....come over and give these a try....you'll be astonished.
If you look at the pictures across the page....you'll see a pair of our CH2 loudspeakers playing to the Sydney audio club. These were a pair we sold to a customer in Sydney.

Hi Everyone! Hope you are going well? Wyndham audio is proud to announce we have collaborated with Australia's premier audio engineers Stuart at SGR audio in designing and producing a very elegant floor standing 2 way speaker. It stands 1 m high and is 200mm X 300mm deep. It is a base reflex design with a decent port designed by SGR using specialised components. Please go to our website to checkout the real wood veneer options. We manufactuer the loudspeakers and have enjoyed the collaboration with Stuart & Harry. In a filed of really good 2 way loudspeakers we figured rather than entering another option in an already crowded market....we'd try something great! Thanks to Stuart and Harry and in Keith'remarkable building ability in producing these speakers. Since I haven't written much for a while I'd better mention our trip to Sydney on October the 11th. We were invited by the Sydney audio club to demonstrate a number of our poducts. What could we do we thought...we considered? It is a long trip between Melbourne and Sydney. Obviously we'd like to show some Graham Slee amplifiers...the pair of Proprius power amps and the Majestic pre/DAC amplifer. We also took and showed off the new ME 580 power amp and the Soulines Dostroyevski turntable with the Shelter 501 MC cart. Speakers, well we had a customer in Sydney who was prepared to bring along his newly aquired CH2 horns with the Tang Band 6.5 inch driver. We were told that the room for demonstrations had been les than kind to many producers and so warned not to expect too much. So we unloaded the gear...set up the amps....the turntable and placed the speakers where we thought we'd get the best effect. More or less....

Now listen....few people would believe me...but a room measuring 9 metres by 12 mteres with a weird low cieling and 40 people sitting in various places was not going to deliver the sound we expect from our CH2 horns.
At the end of one track people stood up and gave the speakers (and their sound replication) a standing ovation!
Hey...if you dont believe me...contact the Sydney audio club and ask them! They performed admirably.
It was a great day and we met many new friends. The amplification played suprerbly between the Graham Slee Proprius and the ripper ME580 power amp. I might add...that both amps deliver great sound...but obviously they are different. The turntable won many friends and continues to be a bit of a giant killer!

I have a number of pics...but shall just submit this one for your interest.....yes...they are our subtle CH2 horns.....playing to a huge room........simply amazing! Thanks to Sydney Audio club for hosting and suporting our day. Regards: Wyndham audio

Hi folks! Well we at Wyndham audio have been busy designing some new products. And so to clear some space we are selling off a pair of Puraudio projects Trio 10 Beyma speakers reduced from $7600 to just $4400 for the pair! These are our demo pair and have only 50 hours of use on them! Please send our website a message if you interested! We have to make way for a new range of products that will soon be delivered! I will not say what they are just yet! But hopefully, people will be surprised! The Trio 10 Beyma speaker deliver a fantastic sound with not just a clear soud stage.....but with superb bass and open transparent sound. They sound fantastic. Well folks; the contact system seems to be working! But if we don't reply, please send it to the personal contact address. In the meantime this gave Wyndham audio the chance to revisit our CH1 elegant horn loudspeaker. This is truly a remarkable loudspeaker. It was our first design to go into production and we rethought some of the baffle step correction. The minor adjustment has really balanced the sound from this speaker. In smaller to medium rooms it is a fantastic sounding speaker. It is very engaging, dynamic and delivers a detailed sound that is beyond it's humble price tag.
Please pass the work out there. If you want a demo, we have a pair in Melbourne and in Adelaide in Australia. Who knows, one day we might have demo pairs all over the world???!

Hi folks! We have been drooling over Voxativ speaker range this week! They produce some absolutely beautiful drivers........ahhhhhh! One day!
I have been experimenting with Tara labs TL101 cables in my system.
These are manufactured to a very high standard and wont break the bank. I know that many people are suspicious about upgrading to better cables. But cables play an important part of transferring the music to your equipment and should be considered if you want to make improvements. The best cable shouldn't do anything and certainly should never affect the sound....but they can!
On the other hand I know people who spend thousands of dollars searching for the ultimate in sound expression. I've tried lots...but I like these Tara cables....they do what they say and deliver a broad clean and clear solund.....with no fuzziness. They are fairly inexpensive and deliver what they promise.
Please consider. Check them out on our site.
