Returned this Conn 6M alto sax to a very happy customer today after a complete overhaul. It was manufactured in 1942 just before CG Conn Ltd converted from instrument production to making altimeters for the armed forces. The US government banned almost all musical instrument production from 1942 until 1945. The sax and its owner are both vintage 1942.

Servicing a Full Boehm Le Blanc System clarinet today. A beautiful instrument. I wish there were more of these around.
