After years of using and wearing out various beach sand scoops, we’ve learned exactly what works and what doesn’t 👇

The Detect-Ed Sand Scoop V2 is the result of hands-on experience, designed specifically to excel in tough beach conditions and deliver reliable performance!

Dry sand is easy for any beach scoop, but wet and storm-exposed sand presents tougher challenges - exactly when you need a reliable scoop.

To meet the demands of modern metal detectors, we’ve made three key upgrades to this scoop while keeping the weight low, ensuring it performs in all conditions.

Nokta Detectors have announced the MAGNETAR 9000, their upcoming flagship Pulse Induction Gold Detector... here's everything we know so far!

Nokta Detectors has officially launched the Magnetar 9000, their first-ever Pulse Induction gold detector, and the claims being made are as bold as anything the prospecting world has seen. After losing a wedding band made of Gold and Tantalum at a busy beach, the owner reached out to our friends at Ring Rescues Australia hoping it could still be found...

Local detectorist Dave (wth no detector of his own on hand at the time) borrowed a Nokta LEGEND so the search could go ahead.

The first attempt was tough going with 40°C heat, heavy crowds, and no nearby parking. Returning early the next morning, Dave methodically grid searched the area while the beach was quiet.

Around 30 minutes in, the Legend gave a strong target signal. Moments later, the missing ring was back in hand.

The ring has now been safely returned to its owners. A brilliant save, a great result and a reminder of how valuable a suited detector can be when it matters most.

At Detect-Ed, we’re proud to supply and support Nokta detectors across Australia 🇦🇺
