Big week on the Murray produced some ripper fish. Poppy Minyarna cashed in with a late 68cm and 54cm specimen. My son caught a very special 56cm greenback for his first ever cod. Special to be part of getting him off the duck! I chipped in with a 53 and 46cm on homemade chatterbaits. Countless smaller trout cod, carp and a few silver perch also. A Great christmas of cod.

Had a great sesh out on lake Hume earlier in the week. 20+ over 30cm and countless other Redfin were great fun caught on a variety of lures including Grubberbaits, blades, vibes and plackies. Fillet went well rolled in Cajun Pablo served with jalapeño burger sauce and a few cold cans! Keep an eye out for a new line of shudderbaits becoming available in the next few weeks!

An 8 inch white ghost Seismic Shudderbait proved too much for this 58cm greenback. 6 caught for the group over Cod Opening weekend not too bad considering the river conditions. Bloody good trip 🍻 🎣 😵

The big pre cod opening weekend continues here on the ‘Shudder Shack’ with another 20 odd lures heading out to blokes who take their cod fishing seriously! Even Mr Social Fishing himself is getting an early Christmas present this year… A few months back I got in contact with Rhys after I purchased and watched his video on rigging big soft plackeys and integrated his modified treble stinger setup on my Shudderbaits. He gets all the credit here guys! I also asked Rhys if he would give me some brutally honest feedback about my product and being the legend he is he agreed!
