A recent arrival and some imminent departures.
The much awaited QR 1620 class models are ready to ship and will be 'on water' in the coming week.
The RHGF stone wagons are being boxed presently and likely to ship later this week.
The modernised EHO NSW express passenger brake vans arrived this week. Around 1960 the NSWR undertook a semi modernisation program with some EHO vans. New plywood sides and modern single piece sliding doors for the goods compartment.

"For the first time ever, SDS Models will have representation at the BRMA Hobart Model Train Show this weekend, being held at the Kingborough Community Hub (9.30 – 4pm Sat & Sun).
We will have some of our TGR Y and 1620 class samples on display, as well as a handful of 1460/1502 models available for purchase, especially including of course, Tasrail QR class locomotives."

Venturing south this weekend for the annual AMRA Victoria exhibition @ The Showgrounds.
With the recent arrival of several wagon packs we are running short of warehouse space.
This weekend we'll be having a SALE. Selected locomotive and wagon packs will be reduced by 20%. For our customers who can't attend we'll extend the offer for the following week.

A few recent deliveries include the balance of our U and K wagons. Buffers and spoked wheels for early U and K wagons.
DCC Sound SRA 81 class models from Freightrail thru to Pacific National are also in stock.
As SDS Models will be at the Waverley Model Railway exhibition and the Adelaide MRE this long weekend, we'll commence posting mid next week.
The balance of the NTAF stock will ship from Dongguan later this month. These will be followed by the end platform cars including the Caves Express and the Greyhound car.
Victorian Railways T class and Y class painted samples are presently underway and should be available mid July.

The models of the Victorian Railways K class steam engine are due to arrive at Port Botany late next week. They should be in our warehouse around 10 working days later. Ideally the models will be in the mail to our customers, early February.
Some colour combinations have proven extremely popular and we have Sold Out of several DCC versions.
Customers of Eureka Models should contact them directly and confirm their current details.

Huge shout out to the people of the Mary Valley Rattler railway for making their 1620 class diesel available to record some authentic English Electric sound.
DCCSound were on hand to capture all the necessary sounds to complete our project.
The tourist railway is well worth a visit if your in Gympie. The station building and museum are very well presented.
