Brown printer paper
Post-Consumer Recycled Paper is paper that has been used and is placed in the recycle bin to be recycled. It is usually brown, as a lot of stuff in the recycled paper bins is cardboard. And it would not be very eco to bleach it white. Brown paper can go through a regular home printer without any problems, and it looks cool.
Recycled paper is made from offcuts, which is new paper that has never been used, but is being re-made into paper. Sort of like when you roll out pastry, cut cookies, then mush the remaining bits together and re-roll to cut a few more cookies. The dough isn’t really ‘recycled’, is it?
