Hello to all my customers and lovely people of Whyalla who sent me well wishes.

It has taken me some time to come to terms with the crisis I had at the video shop.

A little up date.
As my life was being threatened, I had two little girls I had hidden behind my counter my instinct was to protect them at all cost.
It all happened ever so quickly in my happy safe place at work.
We were attacked.
I managed to manoiver a few little things and scare him away, just moments before he threatened to slit my throat with a chunk of sharp glass, and also kill the girls.
But he did come back to have another go at me and alas he was arrested.

I have a strong willingness to return to work and re open the video shop for all my customers
I have had a overwhelming response from you all to help me recover and return.
Thank you to my two friends who helped me clean up all the glass and mess it took us hours.
And my husband and sons who fixed the glass doors that were smashed the very next morning.

I miss you all .

My happy place of safety was breached and I am taking time to rebuild my confidence and small injuries.
The community has been encouraging me and I appreciate it.
I feel a little vulnerable at the moment but getting better each day.

See you all soon.
I hope you will all come back to support the last video shop in Australia.

I will not let this incredibly horrid incident by a reckless lad needless random attack be the moment that defines me closing the shop, it will be on my terms i will be back.

I drive past my shop and it breaks my heart to see it closed, see you all soon thats my plan to date.

Hello my customers and friends, due to vandalism and assault at my video shop late last night we will be closed until we can clean up and I feel better.
Sorry for any inconvenience I think of you all and although I am shaken I will miss my shop open and miss seeing you all.
The offender was arrested, the police did a great job.

Back on the job in our only local video store, thanks for being patient while I was closed .
Had a short hospital stay something stuck in my throat.
Look at all my returns waiting for me.
Can't wait to see all my customers this week.
