Check out our website talkingstones.com.au Our business came about many years ago while searching for a suitable memorial for our pet "Lady". Our grief was compounded by the frustration of not being able to find a memorial that reflected Lady's special place in our hearts, and one that didn't make the backyard look like a cemetery. That's when we hit upon the idea of engraving a tumbled river stone. Leaving the corporate sector we "downshifted" in pursuit of a vocation that we love and a business that could support the efforts of animal welfare agencies and important causes that we believe in. Today, we have a highly diverse range of products and service a number of unique market niches both here in Australia and overseas. We have a fabulous team that value work-life balance while doing rewarding work that we know makes a difference to our customers every day. Karma plays an important role in our business. We believe that if we do good by people that good things will come. Everything we create is lovingly handcrafted using only the highest grade materials and quality of workmanship. Our attention to detail and standard of work ensures you receive a quality object that you will cherish forever. We do not deal in mass-produced trinkets made in sweatshops overseas. We thrive on customer feedback and genuinely love what we do. Our goal is to exceed every customer's expectations. This extends to our corporate customers and growing network of national dealers. Despite a difficult start to life, this little Maltese Shih Tzu cross found her people and, in return, gave them her whole heart.

In our second story of The Story Behind the Stones, we’re remembering Gus, a much-loved companion whose gentle spirit and happy nature left a lasting paw print on the hearts of those who loved him.

Gus was a Frenchy/Pug cross, affectionately known as a “Frug”. He was happiest simply being in the company of his family, enjoying his walks and sharing his quiet, loving nature.

Every pet has their own little quirks, their own special way of bringing joy, and their own place in the family that can never be replaced.
