I love this vintage embroidery fabric in the Berry and Sage collection by Lori Holt for Riley Blake Designs. It has a lovely nostalgic feel and would be great as a feature panel or lining in a bag and perfect for slow stitching projects such as a pouch or needle book.

I have been 'hyper-stitching' on my Joyful Heart textile collage, meaning there is nothing else I want to stitch on! I do have to put it down every so often though to work on my pattern projects, but then I reward myself with an evening or two of solid stitching on it.

This past week I finished thread painting the large rose spray and leaves, as well as the leaves on the blue rose and added stitches and embroidery over the apricot lace piece.

This piece was started in the Joyful Embroidery online course a couple of years ago so it feels good making progress on it. This week I start Fleur's book club and I can't wait!

Hello Friends, I hope you all had a lovely weekend. We had my daughters 10th birthday party on Saturday so I had a house full of squealing, giggling girls. They had lots of fun dancing and singing and we made crystal dream catchers. On Sunday I felt really drained again so I took a 'personal day' and focused on Me time which involved jig saw puzzles, reading magazines, and of course plenty of stitching.

This week and next week I will be doing Trial HSC supervision so I'll be fitting in TMS work around the exam schedule. Life seems so busy right now, the time is just flying by. I keep reminding myself that it's not all about the hustle, life needs to be lived and enjoyed too. I hope you are making sure you take time to live a life filled with joy and a little adventure as well.
