We’re mixing it up a little this weekend 🚂
To help manage our locomotive while repairs continue, we’ll be operating:
🛻 Trolleys at 10am and 1:30pm
🚂 A limited carriage train at 12pm
This approach allows us to continue providing rides and experiences for our visitors while not overworking the locomotive during this important maintenance period.
A huge thank you to our dedicated crew for their flexibility, and especially to our mechanic who is working tirelessly behind the scenes to return us to full train services.
Some people have kindly suggested we borrow a locomotive. While we truly appreciate your ideas and support, borrowing a locomotive is also very expensive and complex — transport, insurance, compatibility and simply finding a suitable locomotive can be extremely difficult. As challenging as the current repairs are, we would much rather restore and continue operating our own well-known and much-loved locomotives.
