The first card from this week's class is proof that birthday cards don't need to be complicated to be effective.
I've combined the Balloon Festoon bundle with some of the Beautiful Ordinary Life Designer Series Paper, which adds plenty of colour and interest without requiring lots of extra layers or techniques. It's a bright, cheerful card that comes together quickly, making it perfect for those times when you need a birthday card in a hurry.

The final card from this week's class is all about keeping things simple.
By combining patterned paper, a few layers, a sentiment, and some coordinating butterflies, you can create a card that comes together quickly but still feels thoughtful and finished. I particularly like the contrast between the colourful DSP and the black-and-white DSP.

This is the sort of design that's easy to recreate when you need a card in a hurry, and it works well for so many different occasions.
