I am absolutely thrilled to share that Merry Go Round Toys and myself individually are finalists for 6 different Heart of Women Awards. It’s a tad overwhelming to be honest 💜

This is the 10th year of these awards and boy are we keen to party and celebrate making it through 2025, one of the hardest years we’ve endured both in business and personally.

These awards embody the individuals and organisations whom are actively leading with compassion and community at their core. These awards are also the major fundraising event for Agape Outreach. This is a charity based in SEQ and Northern NSW providing essential services for homeless persons within the region.

Once upon a time that was me. Homeless on the streets of Melbourne at 13 I was a child in a very adult world filled with addiction, poverty and abuse. For 3 years I had no security, no long term safety or even a bathroom to use overnight. Instead I jumped the local pool fence to shower before heading off to school. Life was exceptionally difficult.

My lived experience has shaped every facet of my life, keeping me grounded, grateful, and focussed upon easing others burdens. Initially through volunteering before serving as a police Officer and now a successful social entrepreneur.

2026 is going to be a year of opportunities and growth
