MELBOURNE 🖤

What a weekend at the Big Design Market. Honestly, I’m sitting here feeling so grateful.

With the way the economy is at the moment, I know people are being a lot more mindful about how and where they spend their money. So to everyone who purchased a piece of my art, a print, clothing, or even just stopped by to say hello, follow along, or tell me you connected with my work… thank you. Truly. It means more than you know.

There honestly felt like there were even more people through the doors this year, and the energy all weekend was incredible. So many beautiful conversations, so many familiar faces returning, and so many new people discovering my work for the first time. That’s something I never take for granted.

Sometimes I still can’t fully process that this little boy who grew up in Dubbo and now lives on Awabakal land in Newcastle gets to travel, create, share his heart, and have people connect with it in the way that you all do. Every conversation, every kind word, every purchase, every follow, it all helps me keep doing what I love.

Huge thank you to the team for putting on another fantastic event. Amazing organisation, amazing atmosphere, amazing makers, incredible food… and honestly some of the best coffee I’ve ever had thanks to ☕️ Melbourne really knows how to do coffee properly.

I also loved getting to meet and connect with so many talented makers over the weekend. Being around creative people who are all out here trying, making, building, dreaming and surviving in this world is really special.

Today we remember the Stolen Generations, our Ancestors, Elders and communities who were taken, silenced and separated from family, culture and Country.

National Sorry Day is not just about acknowledging the past. It’s about recognising the ongoing impacts that many Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people still live with today.

Behind every statistic is real people, real families and real pain. But there is also resilience, survival, strength and culture that continues to thrive despite everything.

Today I honour those who came before us, those still healing, and the generations to come.
Sorry should mean truth, action and change. 🖤💛❤️

PHOTODUMP — WEDNESDAY TO SUNDAY ✨

Wednesday — fresh hair with .hair_ before heading off to Melbourne for .
Thursday — sleepover, breakfast and a good catch-up with before bump in and dinner at . Honestly one of my favourite spots every time I’m in Melbourne.

Friday — first trade day, then dinner with at 🍝
Saturday — another big day at the market followed by dinner at .restaurant with my beautiful Judy . Truly one of the kindest humans and my right hand in Melbourne. She was with me the entire weekend helping everything run smoothly.

Sunday — final trade day, pack down, then dinner with and before heading home to Newcastle.

I love Melbourne so much. Huge thank you to for always putting on such an incredible show and to everybody who came by, supported my work, had a chat, bought something, shared kind words or simply showed love and to my bestie and other mum

I’m still learning how to take compliments honestly. Sometimes it blows my mind that people connect so deeply to the things I create. Little Wayde from Dubbo would genuinely think I’m the coolest person ever 😭✨

Thank you for letting me share so much of my heart with you all. 🩷

A week of chaos, creativity, ideas and figuring it all out.
Paint on my hands, business tabs open 24/7, gallery days turning into late nights, and somehow still finding time for good people and good memories.

Spent the week creating new works for , testing courses and learning how to scale this little dream into something bigger. Met with trying to absorb everything I can about growth, marketing and building a business that actually lasts.

Also took a moment to refill the cup, visited to see a new exhibition, spent time with friends, met some familiar faces and some beautiful new ones at a birthday party, and remembered that life can’t just be work all the time. .bonnie.anne thanks for being born you beautiful soul!

Some weeks feel messy, exciting, overwhelming and inspiring all at once.

This was one of them.

Bring on a new week ✨

This year has really tested me in ways I didn’t expect. Grief, pressure, burnout, trying to carry so much while still showing up creatively, personally and emotionally. There were moments where everything felt heavy, like standing at the bottom of a mountain wondering how I was ever going to make it to the top. But I think that’s what this piece became about without me even realising at first. 🏔️✨

The journey ahead can look steep and overwhelming depending on where you’re standing. But sometimes healing, growth and resilience come from shifting your perspective. Looking again. Softening. Realising that what once felt impossible might actually be shaping you into someone stronger, more open, more connected to yourself.

This work is layered with mountains, pathways, movement and colour to reflect those emotional highs and lows. The soft earthy tones mixed with vibrant pinks, blues and purples represent hope still existing inside chaos. The journey lines remind me that even when life feels uncertain, we are still moving forward. Still growing. Still here.

Maybe this is also the beginning of something bigger… 👀 A new body of work exploring perspective, emotion, resilience and the landscapes we carry within ourselves.

Sometimes the climb changes you. Sometimes it reveals you.

I’ll be at and I am NOT okay about how excited I am. 🩷 These customer moments live in my heart forever. Come find me, come say hi, come cry with me over colour. Let’s go. ✨

Some of my favourite memories exist beside water.

Not because they were extravagant or loud, but because they felt soft. Real. Human.

Laughing in the car after the beach.
Watching the ocean move in silence.
Sharing stories with people I love.
Feeling safe beside someone.

Walking by Water is about those moments.
The tiny ones that quietly shape us and stay with us forever.

I wanted this piece to feel like memory itself, layered, warm, emotional and alive with connection. The flowing forms represent journey lines, conversations, movement and the way water seems to hold our stories long after the moment has passed.

Sometimes I think water remembers us too. 💧✨
