The Support Centre (Op Shop) is focused on delivering short-term relief for individuals and families doing it tough.

The Op Shop is open Monday and Friday 9am to 3pm offering quality pre-loved and new goods at affordable prices. Normal Hours: Two outlets: Support Centre 258 Spring open Monday & Friday 9am to 3pm; 252 Spring Street (Brick House) open Friday 9am to 12noon. Closed on Public Holidays

Calling for Volunteers to be part of the 2026 Winter Warmth Appeal. If you can donate your time to assist with receiving donations at the Winter Warmth booth in Grand Central Shopping Centre from 14 - 16 May or can give a couple of hours during May and June to sort and pack items for individuals and families in need, scan the QR code and complete the expression of interest form and our team will be in touch.

We are Open Monday & Friday at the Support Centre Op Shop and Friday at the Brick House. We are not open public holidays.
258 Spring Street Kearneys Spring.
Please bring your own bags when you come to the shops. We will not be supplying bags - one way to ensure our items are affordable.

Its that time of year when families are counting the cost of sending their children to school.
Many families struggle to provide their children with the necessary exercise books, pens and other equipment to help them succeed at school.
Through provision of school supplies, the Civic Assist Back to School Project aims to support families who are experiencing hardship.
The project is supporting children not only in our Toowoomba Region but as far west as Roma.
How can you help? We are accepting monetary donations that will go directly to the purchase of items on the nominated school booklist.
The need is great, but together we can make a difference in the lives of many children in our community.

Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year to Civic Assist Teams, our Sponsors and Supporters, and the amazing Toowoomba Community who have supported the work of Civic Assist this past year.

Civic Assist Support Centre Op Shop closed until Monday 19 January
Civic Assist Street Crews
Youth Outreach - No service Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Years Day
Safe Night Precinct Street Crews - No service Christmas Day or Boxing Day. The team will be out as per normal from Saturday 27th December and New Years Eve.
