A business I have recently started because I have seen an oppurtunity to do something that I really enjoy that will also give me an income and immense satisfaction.

I started this project for myself several months ago. It's a Pattern called Brooklyn Slipover. Basically a boxy vest. It has been super easy just relentlessly monotonous. Apart from the hems and the cowl neck (to come at the end), it is nearly 200 rows of HHDC, a fiddlier version of the fast HDC. So it doesn't go nearly as fast as the basic HDC and i get bored quickly 😆
I do a bit here and there, and now thats it's starting to cool down, I may actually need it soon. I'm close the starting the neck hole and then the other panel (front and back are done in one piece).

Stage one of Easter school gifts is done.
I wanted to get a decent photo of them all before I loved on to the next. you were right, they will be Bunnies 😁
The girls don't have too many classmate's, but a lot of helpers and friends. This year they also go to different schools so no double ups like usual.

Anyone want guess what this is the start of? I've got a few more colours to make (of this stage), and then I'll move onto the next.
All I can say is, at least im not deciding at the last minute like usual, to do these 😁

Sat in a new park (to me) to chill and craft this afternoon. Was sitting for half an hr before I realised I was underneath two Owls. ❤️

This is a new style of weaving and it took a few rounds before I got the hang of it. Still wouldn't have a clue how to start it properly though! 😆 This style is usually done with raffia and straws or grasses, so the starting method is way different for rope and yarn.

This method adds a lot more strength so im going to go up until I get bored. Which Amy be soon as I've already got my next project in mind (After I Finish a beading one).

From three Woolies bags of cans to this. All it took was two hours 😒🤣

I have a project in mind using the aluminium from cans and while I'm not doing it yet, I needed to reduce the floor space the whole cans were taking up.

Literally going to cry 😢

Glass beads are so delicate sometimes. I rarely break any when doing but used to do it relatively often when I was doing .

This is the first brickstitch I’d done in a while and all was going well until I needed to sew in one end to join another. I broke one bead, again no huge deal, as it was a white one and I could work in another to hide the previously worked thread. I then broke the second one while doing this, too many thread and needle passes.

The devastating part is this project is a goner! The broken beads were in the starting row, I’ve run out of the yarn tail and as you can see, there are too many threads to work ‘around’ 😮‍💨

I’ve put this all in a little baggie to be in picked and redone at a later date. If I attempt to do it the next time I have a spare few minutes, I’m just not going to be in the mood.

This colour combo is just stunning! 😍

A pair of earrings are slowly being made, time is an issue; but still loving the little bits I get done here and there.
