Dear Beautiful Customers,

This is one of the hardest letters things I have had to do.

Over the past few months, I have poured everything I have into trying to keep the doors open. I’ve explored every option, made countless changes, and held onto hope for as long as I possibly could. I truly wanted this little shop to keep going — not just for me, but for all of you as well.

But despite all of that, I’ve had to face the reality that I cannot make the business viable, so with a broken heart I've made the decision to close.

This isn’t just the end of a business for me; it is like the end of something personal. So many of you have become more than customers; you’ve become familiar faces, supporters, and friends. That’s what makes this so incredibly hard.

I am so grateful for every single one of you who walked through the door, shared a kind word, or supported me along the way. You made this place what it was.

Thank you for believing in me, for supporting a small business, and for being part of this journey.

Come Saturday 9th May 1.00pm we will be closed and closed for good. Until then please enjoy 20% off our stock. If you have machines or quilts in, I will be in touch to make arrangements or return.

About the Role:
As Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our boutique patchwork shop, ensuring an exceptional customer experience while driving sales and supporting your team.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily store operations and maintain high presentation standards
Lead, motivate, and develop a small retail team
Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong customer relationships
Manage stock levels, merchandising, and inventory control
Drive sales performance and achieve store targets
Coordinate staff rosters and workflow
Support workshops, events, and in-store promotions
Maintain a welcoming and inspiring shopping environment for customers
About You:
Previous retail management or supervisory experience
Strong leadership and team development skills
Excellent customer service and communication abilities

Organised, proactive, and able to multitask
A passion for sewing, patchwork, quilting, or crafts is highly regarded
