Check out this gorgeous pottery set ‘Thistledown’ by Ridgway

Ridgway Potteries was a well-known British ceramic manufacturer with roots dating back to the late 18th century. Based in Staffordshire—one of England’s most important pottery regions—the company built a strong reputation for quality craftsmanship. Ridgway produced a wide range of tableware and decorative pieces, often featuring classic floral patterns and traditional English designs.

The beautiful ‘Thistledown’ pattern is believed to date back to the mid-20th century, when decorative china was a popular choice for both everyday use and gifting. Like many Ridgway pieces, it was likely made from fine bone china, adding to its elegance and durability. With its delicate detailing and timeless charm, it’s a lovely example of classic English ceramics.
