A few moments from the studio lately 🤍

Working through new ideas, playing around with beautiful bits of lace, making decisions, changing them, and sometimes spending far too long on the tiniest details.

Between the sewing machine, the cutting table and the computer, there’s always something happening.

I love this part of the process. Seeing an idea slowly come together, one little detail at a time. x

There’s something so lovely about childhood in a pretty floral dress. A little twirling, a little mischief, and perhaps a matching bow if we’re lucky.

Many of us don’t think about how much physical work goes into making of things. This is just one of the jobs that I do when I make a jersey Tee or dress.

I really enjoy these jobs as they are almost meditative. 😍

A much-needed changing room, a new display table, and a soft curtain to bring a little warmth and calm to this corner of the shop.

Nothing dramatic. Just slowly shaping the space into something that feels more like us — considered, welcoming and unmistakably DK+L.
