SPELL YOUR JEWELLERY. Most of the jewellery I wear is spelled for different reasons. Some pieces I wear for protection & some for glamour, abundance, transmutation or discernment. I like the idea of the things I already reach for every day carrying a specific purpose with them. My favourite and probably most used method is definitely anointing my jewellery with spell oils. I’ll use a tiny amount of oil, speak my intention over the piece, anoint it and then wipe away any excess before wearing it.

When I have more time, I’ll make a whole ritual out of it. I’ll light candles, call on the planet whose energy I want to work with (or my ancestors) , bring out corresponding herbs, oils and other tools etc etc and consecrate the jewellery specifically for what I want it to hold.

But it really doesn’t need to be elaborate. If you already own spell oils, anointing a piece of jewellery you wear regularly is one of the easiest ways to turn something mundane into a working tool within your practice.

Eclipse season has a funny way of bringing things to the surface before we fully understand what they’re trying to show us. This spread is for sitting with the shifts, endings, revelations and redirections that can come up during eclipse season.

Pay attention to what keeps repeating, what feels like it’s naturally falling away, and where life may be nudging you in a different direction.

This eclipse is ripping the mask off. Pay attention to what is shifting in your own life, but watch the demeanour of the people around you too. What changes when recognition disappears? What happens when someone is no longer being validated, chosen and seen in the way they want.

Leo is ruled by the Sun, it speaks to identity, visibility, pride, leadership and the way we occupy space. This eclipse falls in Leo w/ the South Node, bringing that Leo territory into an eclipse cycle associated with release, culmination and changing old patterns.

The Sun is still there during an eclipse. Its light is just obscured for a moment. There is something poetic about that happening in the sign ruled by the Sun itself. What remains of you when the usual mirrors go dark? Who are you without the audience?

Let the eclipse incinerate illusion!!! 🫶🫶🫶

Planetary magick is such a large part of my practice. Beyond working with planetary days/hours, I leave offerings at my personal altar for the planets. I do this more often than I call down on their energy for spellwork. I don’t usually share much of my personal practice online, but I do have this vid of the Jupiter candle I was feeding at my work altar the day of the Cazimi.

As above, so below. As within, so without. I don’t work with the planets only when I want something from them. I incorporate their principles & my devotion into everyday life, so that when it does come time for spellwork, there is already an established relationship and reciprocation and to me that’s extremely important when I’m extending my offerings to you guys in their name. Same goes for my ancestral work too.

I spend a lot of my mundane mornings leaving offerings like incense, candles, music, prayer and movement for the planets, and that relationship then carries on into the planetary products I make and consecrate. There are SO many ways to build a relationship with the planets. Candles, herbs and correspondences are just one part of it. Every time I take a long trip, I like to do it in Jupiter’s name. When I study, I do it in Jupiter’s name too, along with Mercury. When I get the opportunity to try something completely new, travel somewhere different, learn something that expands my mind or experience something I haven’t before, I extend gratitude to Jupiter. But that’s just Jupiter as an example.

Planetary magick looks different for everyone. It’s so multifaceted which I love about it!! and I definitely wasn’t always practicing the same way I do now but over time I’ve noticed that these acts of devotion and offerings are what really keep my practice thriving.

Think back to August 2018. The last time we had a Solar Eclipse in Leo was August 11, 2018 and interestingly that eclipse fell very close to the degree of the Eclipse we are experiencing now.

Go back through your camera roll. Look at where you were, who you were with, what was changing, what you were beginning, what was ending, what you wanted and who you were becoming. You may notice familiar themes beginning to surface again.

Eclipses have a way of bringing us back to unfinished stories, repeating themes and major turning points, but that doesn’t necessarily mean the exact same events will happen again. You are not the same person you were eight years ago. Because both eclipses fall in Leo, pay particular attention to themes around identity, confidence, creativity, visibility, leadership, romance & recognition.

Check which house Leo rules in your birth chart. That area of life will give you an info about what this eclipse cycle is activating for you. Sometimes we don’t understand the significance of an eclipse while we’re living through it and often it makes far more sense when we look backwards.

I actually crafted these Home Protection Salts last week but haven’t had a chance to sit down and write the product description until now lol.

Since the beginning of my practice, I’ve always kept protective salt mixes around my home. I often have a bowl sitting on my personal altar with a white/black candle placed directly into the salt, and I LOVE keeping little bowls near entry points too.

These are packed full of protective salts, herbs, resins and essential oils, so they smell AMAZING as well.

Made with salt, rue, angelica, lavender, lemon, nettle, hyssop and bay leaf, with frankincense + lavender & camphor essential oils as well as my Saturn + Moon planetary oils.

There are sooo many ways you can work with them:

• Place in a bowl with a white or black candle for a simple home protection working
• Sprinkle beneath your front door mat to guard the threshold
• Place small bowls near doors, windows or other entry points
• Add a little to protection bowls and home wards
• Use around candles during protection, cleansing or banishing work surrounding the home.
• Add to floor washes to spiritually cleanse and protect your space
• Keep a bowl on your altar as part of your ongoing home protection practice

I consecrate the entire mixture while I make it. The herbs are blessed individually, the finished salt is spoken over in prayer, the blend is prepared specifically with protection of the home in mind.
