Henrietta’s Story
Henrietta Skate is a skate shop, vintage clothing store and art exhibition space located on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Henrietta moved to Manly in 2019 and took over the retail space previously occupied by Skater HQ to have a shop front that also moonlights as a cultural hub for the skate and alt alternative communities.
In an interview after a rock n roll at The Lansdowne Henrietta stated, “I’m bored of everything. Lets give up on rock n roll and become pro skaters”. The next day Henrietta grabbed her guitar and tossed it into Sydney’s harbour and jumped the b1 to start her new life as a skate shop owner in Manly.
Henrietta soon realized becoming a cultural icon may take longer than a few days so she hired Peter Dewitte (Co-founder of OSO Wildlife) and Dylan Sheehan (Co-founder of his own life) to sell skateboards and put on events tirelessly until she takes her rightful place at the top of her skate throne to rule everything that is skateboarding.
