My beautiful niece celebrated her birthday over the weekend and all she wanted was a "frozen" cake that snows. ( video to come later) A delicious chocolate cake with a salted caramel ganache.

This naked cake was for a 50th wedding anniversary. It was a vanilla butter cake with whipped white chocolate ganache. The flowers were a combination of real and silk supplied by Silk Florals by Joanne Lagana

So I celebrated my birthday yesterday and thought I would put all my favourites treats together and I came up with a chocolate cake covered with swiss meringue buttercream topped with ferrero rochers and drizzled with caramel sauce. Mmmmm it was delish.

My spunky little nephew had his birthday party over the weekend. He always likes to push the boundaries of cake making. This year he wanted a crocodile with blood and guts. So that is what he got. Happy birthday little man. 😘

I was so happy to be able to make this cake for a dear friends best friend for his birthday. It was so much fun to make. I haven't heard of Derren Brown before so might have to find one of his books to read. Happy birthday Brendan I hope you had a lovely day.

I had the pleasure of making another cake for this lovely family. The theme was his favourite nursery rhyme "old McDonald" this was a yummy chocolate cake with chocolate ganache decorated in fondant. I hope you had a wonderful celebration.
