It is with a very heavy heart and extreme sadness that early this morning, we lost our Craig. After a 9 month battle with an aggressive form of stomach cancer and after fighting with everything he had, he just couldn’t win. Cancer does not discriminate.
Craig lived his life just the way he wanted. He worked hard and played hard. For those he loved, he loved them hard too. You always knew where you stood with Craig. He was a simple bloke, who loved the simple things in life. His kids, his shed, his mates, his dogs and his ute. Nothing was ever a problem for Craig and you could always rely on him.
Craigs wishes were not to have a funeral. Always up for a great party, a few drinks with his mates and some live tunes, a celebration party in his honour will be held in due course.
During this time, we ask that you please give our family and especially our kids, Emerson and Harry some space. They are very much like Craig was, very private people, who need to greave in their own time and space.
At the age of 44, Craig was definitely too young. He had so much more living to do and he made that very clear. If there is anything I will do for Craig, for the rest of my life, Its to live it to the fullest, for you never know when it could be taken away. To all the staff at The Prince of Wales who loved and cared for him, thank you.
For everyone who visited, sent messages, made food, sat with him, called him or just prayed, thank you. On a personal note, thank you to all of our staff who have held our little business together while I have been caring for Craig, for with out you the time I have spent with Craig over the last 9 months wouldn’t have been possible. That no one can take away.
Much love to you all ❤️
Just do what makes you happy !
