There’s something pretty sweet about creating for another small business.

These custom stickers were created for Valeska Siviero Homemade sweets, adding that perfect finishing touch to their delicious handmade creations.

I love working with other businesses to create the little details that help bring their branding and products together. From colours and sizing to the final design, each sticker was made especially for them.

Because beautiful packaging deserves a little personality too!

I’m turning 41 this week, so I made a list…

41 things business has taught me.

Not because I have all the answers; I definitely don’t! But running a small business has taught me more than I ever expected.

Here are a few of the big ones…

You’ll never know everything.
Asking for help is a strength.
Busy doesn’t always mean profitable.
Likes don’t equal sales.
Community over competition matters.
People remember how you make them feel.
Mistakes happen! own them and learn from them.
Rest is important.
Plans change.
Changing direction isn’t failing.
Growth doesn’t always mean getting bigger.
Your time, knowledge and creativity have value.
The people in your corner are everything.

And most importantly…

Remember why you started. ❤️

Saige N Thyme has grown, changed, stumbled, celebrated and adapted. There have been some incredible highs and some really hard decisions along the way.

But the reason behind it all hasn’t changed.

I love creating things that mean something to people.

A gift. A keepsake. A name. A memory. A moment.

Here’s to 41... still learning, still creating and still giving it a go.

I’m sure lessons 42, 43 and 44 aren’t far away.

FATHER’S DAY IS COMING!

Father’s Day is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the dads, grandads, pops, stepdads and all the special father figures who mean so much to us.

At Saige N Thyme, I love creating gifts that are more than just things. They’re personalised keepsakes made to hold a memory, a message or a little piece of the people they love.

From personalised and engraved gifts to photo keepsakes, mugs, keyrings, signs and those completely unique ideas you have in your head, there are so many ways we can create something just for him.

Add your kids’ names, their handwriting or drawings, a special message, an inside joke or simply create something meaningful that is completely personal to him.

Because sometimes the best gift isn’t the biggest or the most expensive.

I’m so incredibly excited to share that Saige N Thyme has been named as a finalist in the 2026 Altitude Awards!

To have my business, my ideas, my passion and all the heart that goes into what I create recognised alongside so many other incredible women is something I’m truly grateful for.

As you might know, Saige N Thyme has always been so much more than personalised products. It’s about people, connection, creativity, community and creating something that means something. Every order, every workshop, every collaboration and every person who has supported this journey has helped shape what Saige N Thyme is today.

Being recognised as a finalist in two categories makes this milestone even more special.

To everyone who has ordered, attended a workshop, shared a post, recommended my business, collaborated with me, sent an encouraging message or simply cheered me on from the sidelines, thank you; you are part of this story too.

I’m so excited to celebrate with the amazing Women with Altitude community and all of this year’s incredible finalists.

Whatever happens from here, I’m taking a moment to celebrate this one.

If you’re new here… hi, I’m Sarahjane!

I’ve noticed a few new faces following along lately, so I thought it was time to introduce myself again.

I’m the heart, hands and slightly chaotic creative brain behind Saige N Thyme.

Saige N Thyme is my little business built around personalisation, creativity, connection and memories. From personalised gifts and keepsakes, to business signage, workshops, and those completely random “Sarahjane, can you make this?” requests… there’s usually something being created!

But Saige N Thyme has always been about more than making things.

I genuinely believe that everyone is important and everyone has a story worth sharing.

I love creating pieces that become part of someone’s story; a gift that makes someone feel seen, a keepsake that holds a memory, a business sign that represents someone’s dream, or a workshop where someone walks away thinking, “I actually made that!”

Behind the business, I’m also a wife, mum of three boys, Registered Nurse, Coffee lover and someone who probably has far too many ideas running through her head at once.

I love supporting other small businesses, collaborating with incredible people and being part of my local community. And I’ll always choose connection over competition.

This page is raw and chances are you’ll see the creations, the celebrations, the behind-the-scenes chaos, the business highs, the occasional hard days and plenty of moments where I’m figuring things out as I go.

Sometimes you meet another small business owner and immediately connect with the heart behind what they are creating. Ruth from Lux Keychains was one of those people for me!

Ruth was absolutely amazing to work with: warm, genuine and incredibly passionate about the reason behind her business.

Lux Keychains was created from Ruth’s desire to help women feel safer, more confident and empowered in their everyday lives.

Ruth believes that too often, personal safety feels like an afterthought: or something driven by fear. She wanted to change that conversation.

Every Lux Keychain is created with "practicality, confidence and empowerment" in mind. It’s about giving women practical everyday tools that can help them feel more prepared and in control when they’re out and about; without allowing fear to define how they live their lives.

And THAT is the kind of purpose behind a business that I absolutely love supporting.

250 affirmation pocket hugs are getting packed and soon to be heading to their new homes.

Each one carries a small reminder that someone is thinking of you, believes in you and wants you to know that you matter.

It may be a tiny pocket hug, but sometimes the smallest gestures can bring the greatest comfort.

I hope each one reaches the hands of someone who needs a little encouragement, strength or kindness today.

If you know me, you'll know I don't often share this side of the journey. But I think it's important to remember that behind every small business is a real person, doing their very best with the time, energy and heart they have.

Lately, I've been reminded that no matter how much you love what you do, you can't pour from an empty cup.

I wear a lot of hats. I'm a wife, a mum to three incredible boys, a nurse, a business owner, and somewhere in amongst all of that, I'm also just Sarahjane.

I wish I could say yes to every order, every idea, every opportunity and every person. I wish I had endless hours in the day. But the truth is, I don't.

The reality is that I'm still learning how to balance it all and I haven't quite gotten there yet haha

Saige N Thyme has never just been about personalised gifts. It's been about creating memories, building relationships and reminding people they matter. But to keep doing that well, I also need to remember that I matter too.

If you've ever waited a little longer for an order, seen me take a step back from social media, or watched things change along the way, thank you for your patience. Every decision I make is with my family, my customers and the future of this business in mind.

I wish I was perfect but right now it's about progress. I'm in love with the knowing that I'm building something that lasts, even if it takes a little longer than I imagined or want.

Thank you to every person who supports Saige N Thyme, shares a post, places an order, attends a workshop or simply encourages me when I need it most. You have no idea how much those small acts of kindness carry me each and every day.

Life has limitations, but it also has purpose. And for now, I'll keep taking one step at a time, trusting that each one is leading exactly where I'm meant to be.
