It’s been a long while since I have been in touch and I hope you have been happy and healthy!🍎

🌿Naturally home has been quietly humming in the background while I’ve also been working in the medicinal cannabis industry, practicing as an herbalist and pharmacist, and completing my Certificate in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies.

🌿It’s lovely to reconnect with this beautiful, health-conscious community and share some heartfelt news. After almost 15 years, it is time for me to be moving in new directions.

🌿 I launched Naturally home back in 2011, before the “low-tox living” movement had barely begun to bloom. It was inspired after travelling around Australia for 8 months with our young family. We discovered great Australian made products, created by small family businesses, that recognised the importance of not using toxic ingredients.

🌿It’s been an incredible journey helping you discover the importance of creating healthy homes and providing easy access to safe, toxin-free, Australian-made alternatives.

🌿Every box shipped has brought me joy—knowing that the products landing on your doorstep have helped you create a safer sanctuary for your family, while also being a win for our precious planet.

🌿With my family now grown and new doors opening, my husband and I will soon be relocating to Italy for some years to work, travel, and explore new opportunities.

🌿So, as bittersweet as it is to say farewell, I’d love to make this final chapter together one to remember.

A delicious and nutritious start to the week. 🍎🥒🥦🍏
Whole food smoothies are a great option and can be taken out the door for the school run, or heading to work. An additional boost of greens and reds powder, made from 23 different real fruit and veges is a winner to supercharge immunity during winter, for increasing energy levels and for providing prebiotic fibre for our gut microbiome to flourish.
I love a spoonful in coconut water to start my morning, or in the afternoons for an extra boost.
Great to take travelling too, when we might find it hard to get in the greens!

🐰HOMEMADE EASTER CHOCOLATE RECIPE!🌸

Easter is around the corner and it’s time to have some fun creating this deliciously healthy and yummy chocolate in your own kitchen.

The secret ingredients that create this decadent chocolate, are the raw Cacao powder and the raw Cacao butter chunks. Find them both on our pantry page.

This recipe will work well for blocks, silicon moulds or for bark – just pour chocolate mixture onto baking paper instead of into a mould.

Ingredients
🐰125g Power Super Foods Cacao Gold Butter roughly chopped into evenly sized small pieces
🐰65g Cacao Gold Powder
🐰45g pure maple syrup
🐰seeds from 1/3 vanilla pod or 1/4 tsp vanilla essence
(if you wish to make this a milk chocolate recipe, you can add a tablespoon or two of milk powder)

Suggested Toppings
Hazelnuts, almonds, pistachios, macadamias
Sea salt,Shredded coconut
Dried fruit
Flavours : rose water, orange essence, peppermint oil

Directions

Makes about 3 x 50g rectangular block moulds or 1-2 baking sheets

-Roughly chop Cacao Butter into similar smaller sized pieces for uniform melting
-Gently melt Cacao Butter in a bowl or saucepan over simmering water or in thermomix.
-Once butter starts to melt remove from heat as it will continue to melt on its own in around 10 minutes. Excessive heat can change the texture and sheen of your finished chocolate. Ideally aim for around 45 degrees Celsius.
-Once fully melted and around 45C, add the rest of the ingredients and whisk until smooth and glossy. This will lower the temperature of the mixture. Once it reaches 28-30 degrees and is a pouring consistency, pour into the chocolate mould.
If using baking sheet, pour chocolate on baking sheet lined with baking paper and spread evenly with spatula .
-Add toppings of choice
-Refrigerate until set (around one hour) and gently remove from moulds, or crack chocolate on baking sheet into splintered pieces and present in clear cellophane bags as little Easter gifts🌸💕
Store in fridge.
