Woof Pack Online is a family-run small business based in Sydney. Founders, Kelly and Mark have always been dog lovers and lived with dogs all their lives. After the loss of our Pug Piglet to lymphoma in 2014, we brought another pup into our lives, a German Spitz named Loki. Coming from having a pug who was just happy lazying around, were in for a shock at how much energy Loki had. Scouted the loca

l shops for toys, and puzzle feeders, but the range was limited. Consulted Google for what else was available, and we found innovative toys and started ordering from overseas. After we received Loki's first puzzle toys from K9 Connectables, we thought, we needed to have these available in Australia. That's when the business of a canine enrichment shop was born. Now, we have a pack of 4 dogs of different breeds and sizes. In addition to Loki, we have Odin - the Alaskan Malamute, Thor - the Pug, and our latest addition, Vali - the PomX from Sydney Dogs & Cats. We refer to them as Woof Pack's Research Team. Every toy we sell is tried and tested by the 4 of them. It surely is amazing to watch how differently each of them tackles and works on the same enrichment toy. Next time you make an omelet or scrambled eggs for yourself, set those eggshells aside.

Eggshells contain a natural supplement that offers both calcium and joint-supportive nutrients your dog can benefit from. Why buy an eggshell powder supplement for your dog when itโ€™s easy to make some at home?

Eggshell powder is ideal for homemade dog diets that lack sufficient calcium sources. The inner membrane is rich in beneficial nutrients like collagen, elastin, protein, hyaluronic acid, glucosamine, and chondroitin, all of which promote joint health. This simple addition can enhance bone health, support joint function, and provide essential minerals for your dog.

Prepping powdered eggshells for your dog is easy!

Thoroughly wash the eggshells.

Place them on a baking tray and in a preheated oven and bake at 150ยฐ C for 7 mins. I like to use a coffee grinder for a powdery finish. Kmart has an inexpensive one and does a perfect job.

Place in an airtight container and store in the freezer.

Vet recommendation is to use approximately 1/2 teaspoon per 450g of fresh food.

Sprinkle over or mix the powdered eggshells into your dogโ€™s homemade meal.
