“I grew up in the very outer suburbs on the west line of Brisbane. This line has a strong rail heritage and early graffiti scene which forms the backbone to my style and fundamental core view of what writing is: bombing, tracksides, style, burners, trains and exploration.

Since my first piece in the early 90s, graffiti has evolved and so have I, taking influence from art, design, nature, friends, travel, education, different cities, people that I meet and graffiti I see, but the flame ignited by what I saw in my childhood still burns bright in my heart and my pieces to this day. I think there might be a similar flame burning in the hearts of my favourite writers as well.

Love to my crews TooFresH and the GhostWriters, and special shoutout to my main writing partners over the years: EPIK Rest In Peace, FLOAT, NOISE, 2RISE, and GENOM.”

Yo! It has been a while since posting. Social media burnout is real. Having posted every single day across multiple accounts for over 5 years I just couldn’t bring myself to do it anymore. I was getting dark and cynical. I wanted to escape the doom scroll. I needed space to give energy to things that weren’t digital.

And so I dropped it all. I’d login in here and there to see what friends were up to. I was fortunate to do some travel and spend time with family. I took enough time to get control again.

The break helped as it gave a chance to reflect and reprioritise. I’d often get asked when catching people in person, “When are you bringing back Your Favourite Artists’ Favourite Artists?” Well today is the day.

If there’s one thing I’ve learnt having spent a lifetime involved in the graffiti scene it’s that one of the most valuable contributions you can make is one that is selfless and helps others. I’ve always viewed YFAFA as a chance to give a bite sized insight into the make up of highly talented artists. It brings light to those who you may not already know and hopefully helps broaden horizons.

And so here we are, after a brief hiatus we are back with . This week we go live with sharing their fine selection. The full post will go live on our site later this week. 🙏

WE ARE HIRING! 💥 We are looking for someone to join our team working at our Southport warehouse in Queensland as a T-Shirt Printer / Warehouse Storeperson. The available postion is a part time contract offering 10 hours per week commencing in April 2024 for 6 months. Why 6 months? Because it’s nice to work in the warehouse through Winter but it can get way too HOT in there through Summer.

An early proponent of the Sydney take on classic New York style graffiti. He’s mastered the Sydney Style and taken it to New York where he lives now and throws down with some of the best to ever do it. Definitely one of my biggest inspirations and someone I look up to immensely.”
