📚Classic classics. 📚

When you’re next in you will find that the Classics section has now migrated to the back room, which includes the vintage & Folio Society books. This has allowed further expansion of the genre, as well as ongoing development of the front entrance for winter. (The majority of the orange-cover Penguins still reside in their place of honour in the front foyer).

Over the coming weeks more than 100 titles will be added to the Classics collection. Here are just a smattering of what’s to come.

This weekend there will be a rare opportunity to peek inside the St Andrews church clock tower. Open on Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 3pm. The photographs of the names scratched and scribbled on the internal timberwork of the tower over the past 130 years will be on display.
You may have a story to share about a family connection to the church, or one of your ancestors may have inscribed their name for posterity.
Only open this weekend 30th and 31st May. Come and enjoy a day in beautiful Strathalbyn - interesting shops, great food and coffee, warm fires and easy parking.

One of my favourite things since owning the shop is the development of a bookish community. So a huge thank you to the lovely who brought these in to share with the wider Book Keeper community.
