The Banksia Has So Much to Teach Us. 🌿💛

Strong, wild and beautifully resilient, the Banksia is a true symbol of the Australian landscape. It grows through heat, wind and changing seasons, standing tall and continuing to bloom where it’s planted.

There’s something pretty special about a flower that doesn’t need to be delicate to be beautiful. The Banksia is bold, textured and unmistakably Australian — shaped by the land and the elements, yet continuing to flourish.

Coming in bold, bright colours, incredibly long-lasting and striking, the Banksia stands out like no other bloom. It brings such a beautiful burst of colour and character, while reminding us of the incredible beauty that grows naturally in our own Australian bush. 🌿✨

And perhaps one of the most remarkable things about the Banksia is its resilience after fire. 🔥🌱 Many Banksia species release their seeds following bushfires, beginning the cycle of new growth across the Australian landscape. From the ashes, new life emerges — a beautiful reminder of nature’s incredible ability to regenerate and begin again.

I’ve been up super early making all of these fresh for you — definitely not sleeping in! 😂 The last few days have been sell-outs with the farm bunches, and I honestly think Blooms in the Bush and our little roadside flower trailer are starting to spread far and wide! 🌸

The support has been absolutely incredible, especially considering I only started this little business in November and haven’t even been running for a year yet. 🥹🩵

I honestly can’t believe how many beautiful people came through today — so many bunches and ceramic pots found their way into the hands of flower lovers making the country drive, stopping at the trailer and taking a little piece of Blooms in the Bush home with them. 💐🩵

I’m truly so grateful for every single person who stopped by, supported my little flower farm and chose to purchase my blooms. Your support means the absolute world to me. 🌿

And those beautiful little notes you’ve been leaving in the Roadside Flower Trailer Visitor Guest Book… honestly, they fill my heart with so much joy. 🥹🩵 Along with all the tags, photos and lovely comments across the socials — I see them all, and I appreciate every single one.

Knowing my flowers have made their way into your homes, onto your tables and into your special moments is exactly why I love what I do. 🌸

Today was especially touching knowing that one family chose a beautiful bunch to take to their father’s grave, to honour and remember someone they love. 🩵🌿

Flowers have such a beautiful way of saying the things sometimes words can’t — whether they’re to celebrate, brighten someone’s day, say thank you, show someone you care, or simply honour the memory of a loved one. 💐
