Open today THE REAL AND THE IMAGINED is a joint exhibition featuring artists Suzy Strout and Xavier Ghazi.

Having first met through their individual participation in annual Drummoyne Art Society exhibitions, Strout and Ghazi noted their shared interest in exploring observation and abstraction in their artworks. While often referencing real places, people or objects, the images are not bound by a need to represent the original inspiration. Strout and Ghazi each use luminous colour palettes to create visual impressions that aim to stir viewers’ memories and emotions.

THE REAL AND THE IMAGINED is a testament both to beauty in the world and the power of the imagination.
