A chimera African Violet is a very rare and unique variety of African Violet with a distinct colour pattern (usually a pinwheel or radial stripe. The term “chimera” refers to a genetic mutation that causes two different varieties of African Violet to be present in the same plant. This is not to be confused with variegation. Unlike all other African Violets a Chimera African Violet can not be propagated by leaves making them rare and sought after.
