🐴How long have you been riding?
I’ve been riding since before I could walk. When mum brought me home from the hospital after I was born she sat me on a horse straight away.

🐴Tell us about the horse(s) in your life right now. What are their quirks or funny habits?
Gally is a 14 year old Gypsy Cob that we purchased in 2019 and was barely Preliminary level. My sister Caitlin trained him up to Medium until 2023 before she left for Germany. And now I have taken him up to PSG.
His weird quirk is; when he runs around his paddock, he’s very uncoordinated.
King is a 13 year old Australian Pony that we’ve had since he was a two year old. My sister Sophie broke him in and trained him up to Novice level until 2023 before she left for England. I have taken him to FEI-Pony/Elementary and refined the quality of his paces. One quirk he’s got is poking his tongue out and nodding his head for treats.
Ludo is a 7 year old thoroughbred. He has basically done nothing his whole life. I’m riding him for a friend and he joined our team start of January 2026. I’ve taken him from barely jumping over 40cm to schooling nicely over 95cm. One funny habit he’s got is waving his leg around when he’s eating.

🐴What do you love most about dressage & showjumping?
I love the training process. Being able to have a lesson, then go home and focus on what you need to improve on, is something that makes me love it the most. Looking back on old videos to see where you first started from, to then seeing the improvement you’ve had throughout the years of all the hard work, is really what makes it special.

🐴What has been your biggest achievement or special moment so far?
I’ve been really lucky to have several big achievements in my career so far. The one thing I’ve taken the most satisfaction and joy from has been training up and producing all of my own horses to FEI level.

🐴Do you have any ‘lucky’ superstitions or rituals when you compete?
I do have lucky superstitions.
I have to wear my lucky socks whenever I’m competing, but the weird thing is, I have different socks for certain tests and jumping rounds.
A ritual that I do before every time I go in the ring, is singing to myself or people around me, I have to do that for at least 5 minutes somewhere in my warmup.
It helps centre myself before competing.

🐴What are your goals for this year?
I have a quite a lot of goals for this year. Some goals just being minor while some of my other goals are huge.
A couple of little goals I’m aiming for is to have my first 1.10 start in Showjumping. Also to have my first Inter 1 start in Dressage.
My bigger goals are travelling overseas to work and ride in a stable, also hopefully being able to compete as well.

🐴What is your favourite product from Horseland Shepparton?

🐴How long have you been riding?
I have been riding ever since I could walk. Following in my Mum’s footsteps, I began showing at 3 yrs old and have absolutely loved it ever since.

🐴Tell us about the horses in your life right now. What are their quirks or funny habits?
I have 3 horses at the moment which I absolutely love working with. They are all young ones now, so extremely excited to get out competing more, and learning with them. My two Galloways are both very quirky, they love scratches and attention! I also have a young pony who I adore, he is so easy and I love riding him. I have recently handed over the reins of my heart pony to a gorgeous little girl who is doing an amazing job with him. He will always be one of my favourites, but I love them all!

🐴What do you love most about showing & dressage?
I love the atmosphere and how much you learn every time you step out into the ring.

🐴What has been your biggest achievement or special moment so far?
My biggest achievement so far has to be when I was lucky enough to be awarded Champion child's pony at Melbourne Royal Show. Another memorable achievement of mine has been National Champion Ridden Part Welsh at the Victorian Welsh National Show.

🐴Do you have any ‘lucky’ superstitions or rituals when you compete?
Not really, however, I do always keep my lucky necklace on when I compete. It was the charm I got gifted after my last EA Nationals with a very talented, amazing pony I was lucky enough to lease, named Raleigh Picture Perfect.

🐴What are your goals for this year?
I would like to compete more in dressage events, and I would also like to train my young Galloway more movements so I can move up levels in the future.

🐴What is your favourite product from Horseland Shepparton?
