✨A new chapter for Potter Macqueen Scone! ✨
We are thrilled to announce that Prue’s brother Doug and his family will be taking the reins of Potters from July 1 this year and keeping the business in the Robertson name.
Here’s to continuing on what our Mother/Grandmother, Libby Robertson and partners established in 1968 and has been a part of Scone, the Upper Hunter and beyond for 58 years.
We claim to be one of the oldest small independent retailers of homewares and gifts in NSW, and are looking forward to a fresh energetic future whilst continuing our tradition of design, style & quality.
Prue will be supporting with merchandising and may even be behind the counter on the odd day. She is looking forward to returning to some Landscape Design & Horticultural consulting. Plus some garden creation, renovating and travel.
We are grateful for the generations of families who have bought and received gifts wrapped by us. We value the stories you share with us in the shop; of wedding presents, first wages carefully spent on a layby, stopping for a look while travelling the New England highway.
We also would not be where we are today without the amazing support and hard work of all the wonderful staff we have had over almost 6 decades - thankyou to all.
We can’t wait see you in store and share this next chapter with you! 💚
