Our Tackle Technicians are service focused, excited about what they do and encourage and support all customers to embrace and enjoy the passion of fishing. We endeavour to promote a Family Friendly store where everyone from the absolute beginner through to the experienced angler are welcome to seek information and also share knowledge as well. If you’re not sure where you fit into the fishing picture, need advice or if you have not been able to fish for a while drop in and see what is available or just catch up with what is new, there are also plenty of great fishing spots close by. Bring the kids, partner or the whole family for an experience and hopefully we can change it from "Fishing to Catching" for you.

Wednesday and Thursday we hit Red Beach on Bribie Island!

Again, 15-20kn winds, put going tide, perfect!

Had a couple of Double Headers on the Kwik Rig Paternoster, trick is, hook one and let it sit for a few seconds and his mate gets the other hook!

Got some nice Whiting, got my feet wet and a quick sand blast all at the same time.

It was a great session, not a bit a minute but still worth investing the time.

I broke out my Gary Howard 9' Estuary and my 2500 Ultegra which was ideal for the light surf. Teamed with the Kwik Rig Pre-looped Paternoster I even managed a couple of Double Headers!

Live Blood Worms and Preserved Beach Worms both worked well.

We had to finish off the trip with a cracker pie from the Kenilworth Bakery on Bribie, highly recommend the "Chunky Pie"

We found a smouldering log at the start of the access track at Red Beach, we dowsed the fire and reported it. Please remember that this area is very dry and something as stupid as a fire can be desistating!

Get out there with the family and enjoy the beach and the views. Unfortunately, it is not an ideal spot to lose tackle.
