Yesterday's calendar update is already hopelessly out of date. Get ready for 🐉Fantasy Fest at Kryal Castle, 🏰 Newcastle Medieval Festival and ⚔️ Queanbeyan Medieval Fair!

The calendar is filling up nicely already! 14 fairs have announced dates, with the majority crammed into just 4 weekends. Most of the clashes are pretty geographically far apart, which won't bother visitors, but might trouble performers and stall-holders.

Melbourne Renfair has sold out all tickets for their inaugural May event in just a few hours, catching many fans apparently by surprise. Clearly this is an exciting and highly anticipated addition to the calendar.

Abbey Medieval Festival have announced that tickets will go on sale 'early/mid 2026', and these have also started to sell out very quickly, so be sure to sign up for notifications if you're keen.

The team from Events & Festivals Australia haven't announced any dates for Newcastle, Queanbeyan or Geelong yet, having just wrapped the first Geelong Medieval Festival, but assure us that they will be back. Stay tuned for news early next year.

Southern Realm Festival will be back next August in a bigger, better two day format and Armour and Alchemy fair have confirmed they will also be back for a second year, dates to come. That's fantastic news for these new events.

History Alive: A Journey Through Time is also back, with a major venue shift to the Ipswich Showground. An exciting development for this venerable re-enactor run event.

We're back from our last adventure of 2025 and preparing for the new season. As we apply for events, we'd love to know where you think we should be heading next year! Let us know which cracker fairs we missed this year and we'll see if we can make it.

Have we missed any event announcements? Your tips are always appreciated.

It's nearly time for the Victorian Medieval Fair at Kryal Castle! That must mean it's time to redo our jewellery displays. We've just brought in a bunch of new pewter, so watch this page as we'll be putting it on the website once we're back from VMF.

By popular demand, we are pleased to bring you our Tudor shoes!

Tudors, Landsknechte and all manner of early sixteenth century re-enactors and costumers will appreciate these square-toe fashion statements.
Our Tudor shoes are made with a hidden Blake stitch construction for the look of sixteenth century turn-welt construction, with a veg-tan leather outsole.
The cut of the uppers and shape of the toe are designed to make these as generic as possible from England to Germany across Western Europe in the first half of the 1500's.
We couldn't resist fitting the appropriate reproduction Dutch shoe buckles by Keystone Forge to finish the look.

Tudor shoes are in stock now on our online shop, while stocks last.

Southern Realm Festival will mix medieval re-enactment, bohurt combat and the combat sport of Jugger for one day only, 8 November, in Boonah, QLD.

Tasmania medieval festival KNIGHT FIGHT 2025 will have knights, fights and more. Come and watch a full-contact armored combat, or kit up and grab a sword, then step into the ring to experience fighting a Knight. 8-9 November in Sheffield, Tas.

Including Kryal Castle Victorian Medieval Festival and Geelong Medieval Yuletide Bash Festival, that's 5 events all through spring, and a total of 24 slated fairs for Australia in 2025. Wow!
