This Saturday 25th April for Anzac Day we will be opening from after the Commemorative Service 11am-4pm.
There will be a 5.45am dawn service at War Memorial, High Street, Rushworth. Gather at the War Memorial at 9.50am for the commemorative service, held 10-10.30am. 🌺

Join us on May 1st for a special huddle talk with Jade Miles - author, farmer at Black Barn Farm, and host of the Futuresteading book & podcast at Rushworth General Store’s new location.
This intimate evening will include supper and a chance to gather in good company as we explore what it means to build a more connected, collaborative tomorrow.
Through practical, hopeful (and perhaps at times a little uncomfortable) provocations, Jade will invite us to consider the power of localising - how we might garner strength, ideas and resilience within our own communities.
Drawing on stories from her travels, she’ll share how other towns are learning to garner collective capability, deepening connection and shifting from isolation to collaboration in ways that feel both grounded and possible.
In the midst of our curvy day chaos, this will be a balm - an opportunity to pause, listen, reflect and contribute to something bigger than ourselves.
Come curious. Come hungry. Leave inspired.

A large delivery of gorgeous new pieces in time for Mother’s Day has just arrived and you won’t be disappointed..from our best selling staples to a new line of bags from . Our new space feels great and so easy to shop in. Thank you to everyone that has called in to say hi and for the compliments on the renovation- it makes us happy to see you all enjoying it! What also makes me happy is that we now have wheel chair access and plenty of room for walkers & prams. 🙌🏻Why not take a nice drive this weekend to Rushworth and check it out, we would love to see you 🍂🤎🍁

We have moved into our new store just a few doors down from the old one in High Street Rushworth and our customers are loving the extra room and space. (So are we to be honest!) Not to mention our open fire to keep you cozy now that the weather is cooler. Another drop of Autumn/Winter Clothing has landed as well as weekly arrivals of homewares and local blooms from Botanic Farm. Why don’t you come and check it out this weekend…we are open 10-4pm Wednesday to Sunday. Located at 27 High St Rushworth (right next to Gus & Ollies Cafe). Happy Weekend marketflowers indoorplants

Easter Hours, apologies for the late post…just returned home from a big day in store. So happy to see everyone enjoying the new store and space! Thank you for the positive comments, gifts, roses, homemade scones & biscuits and hand-written cards- it has made all the hard work and late nights worthwhile. Most happy to see Mums with prams, wheel chairs and walkers have easy access to walk around the store 🙌🏻 and browse. If you haven’t had a chance yet or haven’t heard the news, we have moved into a new store - 29 High St Rushworth, just a few doors down from our last store. We are right next door to who make great coffee and have a delicious menu. Easter Saturday our famous Heritage festival is on from 8.30am onwards and packed with over 100 stalls and has a family fun parade with horses, vintage machinery, cars, competitions & more…we’ve been taking our kids to this for years and the weather is looking 👌☀️. Wishing you all a safe & Happy Easter and we are looking forward to sharing our beautiful new space with you, 💛 Jaz & Team

New Store Opening tomorrow Friday 27th March) at our New Address - 29 High St Rushworth, just a few doors down from the old location, except this store is much more spacious! We have worked tirelessly for the last two months renovating the old 1890’s General Store and moving all the stock (yes every item 🙄) into the new store. Thank goodness hubby asked the local IGA if we could borrow their trolleys for the move..I have so many people to thank as it was definitely a team effort. I will post more renovation pics (before & afters) so you can experience the journey with us. Apologies for the last minute delay in getting the news out but we just got home..It’s been a marathon 🙌🏻We can’t wait to show you tomorrow. Open 10-4pm

Due to the extreme , hot & windy weather conditions, I’ve decided to close the Rushworth General Store tomorrow (Friday 9th January) and help my family watch over the farm & animals 🐏🐑🐕🐕🐕
