GOOD NEWS STORY - PLEASE READ

As many of you know, on Tuesday 3rd of March, we were broken into. Money was stolen and our door was obliterated. Our landlord has chosen not to claim the replacement of our on insurance, so unfortunately we are left to cover this cost out of our own pockets.

This came at what was already a difficult time for our business. We were dealing with a leaking roof, and an uncertain world to be running a retail business in.

We never could've imagined the good that would come from this dark time.

A few days after the break in, walked into our store and said she had seen the news online, and wanted to help.

We thought this was a lovely gesture, and figured she just meant she would support us by sharing our story online, or encouraging her clients to stop by. What she has done for us when above and beyond what we ever could've imagined...

Mikayla offered to do tattoos for book loving customers, and would donate 100% of the proceeds. Not just the profit, every single cent.

She spent hours tattooing customers of ours, who shared stories with her about our store, and how important they feel we are to the community.

For Mikayla to see a business in need, and jump to action in such a significant way, is something we will never forget.

We have loved getting to know the team at and to hear Mikayla speak about her story of becoming a tattoo artist. She has shared with us how much she has enjoyed becoming a part of this amazing community we have been in for over 20 years, and we are lucky to have people like her in our corner.

A massive thank you to you Mikayla, we will never be able to fully express how appreciative we are.

To our book community, please support Mikayla and if you are ever looking for a tattoo artist, you will not be disappointed with their amazing work!
