I received a smoker as a gift quite some time ago.

It has sat there looking at me like “go on, give it a go”.

So this last Sunday was the day.

I don’t pretend to be anything like an expert here. I am learning the smoker.

What I do know for sure, is that in a glorious sunny wintery Sunday, I had a Bolar roast in the fridge. And I had a hungry family to feed.

In this modern day world, there are many challenges that are coming at our kids from outside our home, outside our family and outside our own families values. As Mum’s, this can feel a lot. I hear you. I’m a Mum too. And I feel it too.

We sold out of ONE COW across the whole weekend at our markets and with beef boxes to our customers (Liam and Kathryn).

Thank you so much for stepping towards me in support of a cause that can create great emotional discomfort. I noticed and appreciated your courage. Your kind words and encouragement for supporting such an important cause were uplifting. Thank you. Thank you for showing up for our farm, for me and most importantly for the Dolly’s Dream Charity.
