Some of us have been doing this a long time, I've clocked up 17 years, Bron's at 10 (with BMF), and a couple of the crew are still fairly new at under 2. Different lengths of time, same amount of care that goes into every bunch that leaves here.⁠

Before Brisbane Market Flowers, there was Manly Floral Studio.⁠

That's actually where this all starts. Mum and Dad did the floristry course together, and before either of them had their own shop, they opened Manly Floral Studio side by side.⁠

Dad had his own ideas about how flowers should be done though. So in 1996 he went out on his own and started what's now Brisbane Market Flowers. ⁠
⁠
Though neither of them are here to celebrate this milestone with us, their fingerprints in how we do things still show up everyday. The way flowers are handled, the way customers are treated, it all traces back to them. Both taught me things that i will be forever grateful for. I wouldn't be here today without them. ⁠

My dad started Brisbane Market Flowers in 1996, took over in 2009, and on Saturday 5 September we’re marking thirty years since it all began. 🥰
